My hats off to Australia for keeping a place so clean and beautiful. In my travels, places within the tropics are usually a total dump with all the trash around. This place looks like a great place to retire, lay back and enjoy the sea, weather, and overall vibes.

Family would go to Byron Bay early 70's first two weeks in may. It's staggering to see the progress once the abbatoire closed. Real estate went through the roof. I clearly remember the ranger Mr Watego. Step out of line he was there.

Everything is so clean and beautiful. Never been in Adelaide but I'm sure it's a great city. I haven seen many videos about Australian cities, they're all clean and beautiful too. Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Newcastle, Canberra, Gold Coast, Darwin etc. 👍👍👍 Love from Greece!

Wow it was a ghost town during lockdown! This was great to watch, there have been a few changes - projects finished & new ones started etc, but other than that, Ipswich still pretty much looks the same. I particularly like what has been done with the Nicholas Street Precinct (which was still underway in this footage), it's such a lovely area now.

@@Walk4KToday It would definitely be a fantastic contribution to the ongoing "then & now" archive 👍 According to the Ipswich City Council, 2024 will see some exciting finished projects, including the new Hoyts Cinema Complex & the refurbishment of the Commonwealth Hotel aka Murphy's Pub. Plus apparently there is a whole score of new businesses about to open up in the Nicholas Street Precinct & Tulmur Place 👏😄
