I can't believe it's been that long... I still remember when I was in high school and trying (and failing several times) to download a fan translated version on my cheap computer, not even knowing wtf I was doing AND in the middle of the night because I didn't want my parents to come inside my room like 'surprise mf!'. And I'm super late but I only discovered recently that Jast and Steam released an official TL! I have never pulled out my wallet that fast. Man, still can't believe I can now BUY DMMD with my own money... Just downloaded the game (legally) like, ysd, I'm feeling all giddy and I already played 10h straight. I shed a tear when this song appeared at the beginning, so many memories... T_T

This was a fucking cultural phenomenon. I remember the fandom being HUGE. I have never in my life seen a single nsfw game get the same type of culture around it. The game has WAY TOO MUCH thought and clear love put into it. They didn't need that much plot, they really DIDN'T NEED the most banger ost which cannot be replicated. Yet they did. It's 2022; I just finished the game and start looking for all of the songs to add to my playlist. I recall hearing about the game in 2013 and watching the anime in 2015. It took me another 7 years to begin playing the game, but I'm glad the fanbase is still alive and well. Happy 10 year anniversary guys!
