Being a lefty helps a ton but the work that you have to put in is next level. I’ve found love in D3 and college tennis at any level is such an incredible experience

Love the spirit and enthusiasm, as a lefty you really should improve your serve and forehand. You’re going to need to be more offensive and those 2 lefty shots will let you do it
@masonhett7930Ай бұрын
Totally right thank you for the advice. I’m thinking about getting a ball machine to get a lot of high quality reps in

Looks like you tuck your elbow on the forehand I had a similar issue and had to fix it. Try to start your forward swing just before or as you feel your elbow start to drop.
@masonhett79302 ай бұрын
That’s a great tip! I’m trying to hit the ball farther out in front so hopefully that will correct the tuck in my elbow

As a tennis player I agree the mental aspect is the most difficult to figure out but at some point it just becomes draining and loses its fun. Personally I find sports like basketball more enjoyable now even though i’m better at tennis

I’m a tennis player myself and most of my friends either play baseball or lacrosse and the always fight which one is harder and when I say that I think tennis is they think I’m kidding and joking when I say it is a mental driven sport but it really is and not just a sport of just hitting a ball back and forth.
