Hi ,thanks yes its a nice car. What would identify it as a 21013? The build date on vin is 1976 and the 21013 started in 1977? Also the engine has 21011 stamped on the block and the rear badge says 1300 where I thought the 21013 had the 1200s badge and engine?
@youssefel-fahham7794
@youssefel-fahham7794 Жыл бұрын
@@57gta both have 2101 engine. However, you identify 21013 from front and rear bumper shape as well as presence of white eluminated rear gear light underneath the right tail light instead of the older version where it was place underneath the rear bumper.

@@youssefel-fahham7794 how would that work with the year? The vin is stamped 1976 but the 21013 was from 1977?

@@youssefel-fahham7794 The main visual difference between the 2101 and 21011 is the bumpers don't have overriders, vents now above the front bumper and on rear pillars plus the reverse light has moved to under the rear light. The 21013 is visually like the 21011 but has the 1200 engine where the 21011 has the 1300 and is badged 1300 which mine is, and mine being 1976 was a year before 21013 production.

Other than the ridiculous proportions, which every car had in the 70's, the Chryslers had some attractive styling. It has aged very well. This car looks much better than a Chevrolet or Ford from that era.

Work of art. The early 70's were marvelous cars. I realize that some my find this silly. but the Dog Dish hubcaps, in my opinion are much more attractive on this car than full wheel covers.
