A little late checking this out, but was happy to help with some of the DMC facts (I didn’t realize how much stuff I wrote until you showed it here). It was cool hearing your experience with it, been playing for a while but I remember also having that problem with the controls (love how it never tells you how DT works) the first time too lol. It’s definitely a game that shows it age in places, but also a lot of fun. If you ever try the old Resident Evil games too by any chance there’s a lot of similarity in terms of like atmosphere and designs. Was fun listening to this! I like the idea behind it, and it’s cool you guys reached out to people for more info on the games.

I think your talk on AI doing voice acting is very interesting. Playing the Nancy Drew games I’ve commented many times on how great the voice acting is. I do believe that part of the “art” of a game would be lost if AI did more voice acting than real voice actors. Most anticipated game of 2024….Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys hopefully?? It’s interesting that Jake is a pro with stealth mode games, but Resident Evil style stumps him. It just reminds me of a more stealthy strategic style game and I would think he’d like it.

Oh my gosh I'm 30 as well and I cry at everything too 😆. I'm so happy you guys talked about Hogwarts Legacy. I want to buy that for my Xbox One and give it a try. The game has a lot of mini quests. Is there a bigger quest to the game where you "finish" the game or is the game more of a continuous play kind of game?
