That pattern at 6:16 is so pretty. I've tried it a few times, but haven't gotten it consistent.

dude, I've been spinning for 5 years and I never got the fishtail down. I watched your video and practiced for about 2 hours and it suddenly made sense! I can do about 6 or 7 so far, even if they're a bit erratic still thank you!

Love these tutorials. They are the first contact move tutorials I've seen that explain clearly and in depth how to practice and learn basic contact staff tricks.

I can't even get the first fishtail :( I've been spending hours simply trying to get it to stay on the back of my hand/wrist and it just won't do what I intend it to do. I've been experimenting for the past several days to no avail..

Nice thorough video! I was wondering what kind of tape you use? I'm using tennis grip tape right now and it's good for a while, but after it gets a little sweaty it doesn't grip so well.

I'm new to contact staff, I've been practicing hoop for 3 years and I'm pretty advanced in that. So far your staff tutorials have been my favorite. In the hoop world we there is a huge community who learn online. I just can't say enough how much I enjoy how you break the moves down. Thanks man!

you should focus more on the fundamental parts like getting it around the elbow and into your hand

Its a tough move, man. I could go into a bit more detail but the best thing you can do is keep practicing. Don't worry, you'll get it. Thank you for the feedback
