This was not Manchester Race course !!!! This was SALFORD 💥 in the area of lower Broughton,and Kersal which is Salford 7.

My father in law J Theodore Kilner borough engineer and surveyor of Prestwich was the over seeing Engineer of the construction of Simister Reseviour in 1937 . After which he was.the Borough Engineer and Surveyor of Prestwich until his retirement in the late sixties..Denise Kilner. I i married his son John Kilner in 1963/

Why does something mounted on a car need to be certified by the CAA?

The grating you can see at the front is where the bees come and go to collect the pollen and then return to create the honey.

Nice 4k footage but try getting a shot in one smooth cinematic scoop instead of turning it around each time which makes it looks like surveillance cameras Check out my vids. I did some of heaton park too. :)

The area you filmed were originally the stables, the hall itself was demolished in the fifties and stood where the car park is now. Good to see my playground when I was a kid, along with prestwich clough and drinkwater park. Sad to see the place so badly neglected.

Had many a bookie there when it was a niteclub ...in early 80s ...top nights there ...wonder if there are still traces of the old dance floors and bars ....love to no

Your drone videos in Prestwich are all fabulous.Kersal Moor is hauntingly beautiful-and i used to walk through and run through their in the mornings and afternoons,many years ago.I also love Prestwich Clough-Drinkwater Park-leading straight into Clifton Country Park-as well as Prestwich Village shopping centre-old fashioned and some lovely charity shops plus other curio specialist stores.Cannot believe this have several hundred views and i'm the only one too comment since its upload just over 2 years ago.I did some Walk And Talk videos for my former KZfaq channel-in septemeber 2015-close to Prestwich Clough and St marys church.Prestwich is the nicest part of North Manchester by a mile.I also like Whitefield and Radcliffe.xx

I used to throw tennis balls over the top of this arch with my mate, John Ogden (RIP), back in the 70's. Great times back then.

What drone to you have? Take it you live locally. You cover all the same subjects as me. What you lack in style you certainly make up for in Quality over the vids I made with my Bebop Drone!

Thanks for the comments. We filmed this a while back and unfortunately a lot of similar areas are in a poor state such as this !!

And thanks to the person who filmed this too Dad used to live in Damshead lodge which was the White House down the bottom end where the Hayes road boys use to have their cross country run pass and Stan grammar used to turn and run through Phillips park and back to the school, the Preswhich Mental hospital annex (loony bin) on top of the hill.

Absolute disgrace, they've allowed it to fall into rack and ruin. If Mr Trill the old head of Whitefields parks and gardens in the 1960's had seen the lawn inside the gardens mowed like that I reckon somebody would have be hanging from the Yew tree that is no longer there... how the F do you kill a Yew tree AND you weren't allowed to walk on the formal gardens lawn! Phillips park was runned by the joint committee of Preswhich & Whitefield councils Preswhich paid the wages Whitefiled did the plants,fertilisers and materials including the coke for heating the conservatory & greenhouse! Lancaster shire county council used to have a depot in the quadrangle for the guys who use to mow the schools sports fields etc in the whole area. Worry back then was the thought of Bury council was going to take over the local councils but apparently Manchester took over the whole lot ...and totally stuffed it up...by the way its only 4.5 miles from the centre of Manchester according to the milestones on the Bridgewater canals which will be correct! Hi .. what drone was you using .. was it a DJI Phantom .. if so did you suffer any signal problems whilst you were there with the telegraph tower .. I was there this morning and had signal loss at around 40 mts

Some nice shots there. I flew my drone in a previous video and I think they're probably the best shots I've got. Such an amazing place.
