As much as I hate communism and the idea of it and am glad that we live in a timeline where the soviet union met its demise and became a part of history, I still have to admit that their anthem is pretty good and sounds pretty nice. US Anthem still on top tho 🫵😎

When I was a kid I remember the Soviet girls in gymnastics were almost always first (cause of their talented coaches who were squeezing the best out of the girls) and how proud they were stepping on the first place listening to this beautiful anthem. Losing to a western country was not an option! They were the best!

I may hate the way the USSR was run and treated it's citizens (and pretty much everyone else) but damn this is one of the best anthems ever made.

In my Opinion: the Paint Splattered Black Hammer and Sickle and Star with the Red Background looks like it's Libertarian Communist/any form of Libertarian Socialism. It would be Amazing if the USSR was Libertarian Socialist [in an Alternate History Scenario] Instead of Vanguard State Socialism that Degraded into Party-State Capitalism while the USSR was in its Later Years it Engaged in Social Imperialism and China is Repeating History again from the Foot-Steps of the USSR. [This is just my Political Opinion, take it or Leave it.]

I actually ended up using this version as my nations anthem in a worldbuilding/geopolitics roleplay game called Viewerw*rs. I was the second Pole in the communist world, and ended up forming a rival communist Bloc called the IRCP.
