I have the same problem. What is this brass pin you are speaking of? How would I access it? Also any idea of a cheap stylus to replace the one missing?

Anyone knows how to adjust the tracking force on the tonearm?
@redted8910 ай бұрын
Have you check if the arm move back ans forward when you start and stop. The arm with the white piece under the pin. When the arm move forward the pin go up. A little plastic pin drive the arm in the center wheel. Maybe is unset or broke.

I don't think that removing that pin will help. It's just there to keep the plastic part from rising off. I believe that the brass pin also has limited motion by design, but using WD-40 or the like (penetrating lube) may help. As far as what's causing this, the tonearm has a cueing feature. Look for a part that is holding the tonearm up. That would be the part that's locked in the up position. If you are not averse to spending money, Soundsmith in Peekskill, NY can probably repair it. They are quite good.

I'm looking at the same issue myself. You have to lift the rod that connects it to the center mechanism at the center..

There's a small aluminum pin that was embedded in a arm inside a mechanical part in the base, this pin broke loose. I'm having the same problem. I have photos but can't send them.

I have the same problem. Couldn't remove the pin. It's moving though, after cleaning it and lubricating but it did't sove the problem with the tonearm movement... stuck in this project as well. Let me know if you find the way to do that. Have you tried beo forums?

Nice, Ive had a pair of these I bought used in '83. Had the foam on the woofers replaced once about 20 yrs ago. they have been sitting idle for a while and just took the covers off. Now i see the midrange are damaged around the edges. Do you know anything about how to fix them?

The X-T3 has exactly the same issue. @Theoria Apophasis: reset doesn't solve the issue on X-T3. Fuji told me it has something to do with the SD, but I don't think so. I had the lockup with a Lexar LSD32GCRBNA2000R rev. A and rev. C and a Sandisk SDSDXPB-032G: all the three SD Cards are recommended by Fuji. We are following this issue here: www.fujix-forum.com/threads/couldnt-power-off-x-t3.84296/page-1. Same issue with two different X-T3.

An IBIS system buzzer appeared on an X-h1 with less than 100 shots and 3 weeks of use, it drains the battery prematurely and this noise enters the video recordings, this is the store's response: Roberto, today I personally attended the test of your camera to Fuji's authorized technical service regarding the alleged anomaly that you declare. The test was to open a new X-H1, install the batteries, remove the lid of the body and make a noise test. There was no difference between his team that is under review and the new camera. Therefore, it is concluded that the equipment does not have any operation problem or factory failure. Faced with this we can not accept your request for change on the grounds that the equipment has some malfunction, there are no valid technical arguments, nor do I see any ethical problem in the sale of the product enhanced on 10/09/18 or in the period between that you gave the camera reporting the alleged failure. Notwithstanding the above, please ask the Technical Service for more specific information that indicates that the sound you indicate is an anomaly, is a functional part of the product due to the hardware's own conditions, they indicated that they will look for that background "and in the As long as there are "they will send them to me to make them arrive to you. But I repeat it without falling into the crap that for the manufacturer is a normal condition.

With the most perfect cards (Sandisk II from B&H, and among those, I chose the ones that tested the best on my PC tests), and compatible Fuji battery (charged with the Fuji charger), mine got stuck twice and in one case it did a full reset by itself while it was resting on the hotel table, and it lost all settings, including date/time. I switched to another battery (also Fuji, same exact type), and it's working fine ever since, but have not done any extended use tests to confirm it. So now I also have to throw away the new Fuji battery that didn't work well [although it charges just fine] and I paid full price for it. I didn't shoot any video at all, only stills. No tracking AF, only single mode. And it misses focus often, even in the simplest of settings.

Try to use the lexar 300mb/s, you will not experience this lockup anymore and update the body firmware and lens firmware as this can also be the reason of the lockup

I've had this same problem while on a shoot. Such a nightmare dealing with this in front of clients. What I found to help, was removing battery, placing battery back in, and letting it do its thing for 10-15 minutes before powering on again. Fuji needs to fix this.

Hi there, I have the same problem, but don’t panic. It has something to do with card. Even after the battery take out and put back in, still same problem like showcase on the video. What I did was reformat the card on another camera and put it back in and the battery back in too. This might help, it works fine for me. Also, i think this has to do with the firmware too. Hope Fuji will address this. Other than that, it is an awesome camera. Thanks for posting.:)

The instrument seems to be in fine working condition. However, he didn't check the functionality of the CV Pedal, Sample / Hold Mixer Modulation feature, ADSR Envelope Generator Modulation for the VCO Frequencies, Pulse Width Modulation or Low Pass Filter Modulation, White and Pink Noise Selector, VCO 1's Low Frequency Range or the Sample / Hold Output Lag to name a few.
