E, E, E, F (fast 6 times) then F, G, slide to A, hammer on C to D on the 3rd string, then short slide to Dis, slide to D, hammer on from C to D, C, A, C, A, G, E. D (6 times) then slide from Octave D (G String) to E and back, hammer on from C to D, C, A.hammer on from C to D (but with the Cis as well) , C, A, C, A, G, E. C (4 times), hammer on from B to C, C, hammer on from B to C, B, G and then slide into the E

2:32 is nothing special just the open A String and then fast Slide to the Octave A

2:35 is F, E, D, C, A, A, A, A, C, D, A, A (hold the last A a little longer). H, C, H, F, E, D, C, A, A, A, A , 2 open A and then fast Slide to the Octave A (same like 2:32 but 2 times the open A) H, C, H, C, H then Down slide from octave A (E-String)

Danke für deinen Kommentar. Es ist halt durch den Slap-Bass schon etwas komplizierter und war vieles improvisiert, was das nachspielen natürlich zusätzlich erschwert. Man kann den Song auch etwas leichter gestalten. Es ist im Original auch etwas schlichter gehalten. Einfach immer weiter üben und nicht schnell aufgeben, dann wird der Song auf deine eigene Art und Spielweise schon gut werden 👍.

No, I have played it with standard. Maybe I would use an octaver live, but then I need to play the riff an octave higher because of tracking problems with the low E.

Very nice cover! Is that another Jazz hanging on the wall behind you? I’ve always liked the natural wood color on the Fenders, especially with maple fretboard. Liked and subscribed. 👍

Haha, yes man. I will sell it soon 😃. (The bass hanging on the wall) is an original 77 Jazz Bass I think, but I like the custom shop one better.
