Not enough of good songs from Parker. What an ignored talent but this is not helping by tossing in not so great songs.

This band went through a lot of changes, but this and the original lineup with Wilko is without exception the best 'Feelgood' got. Completely different groups for many reasons - but quite unusual for a brand to be worth its salt having lost a vital element. I knew Gypie. He was a lovely bloke and a very fine guitarist; I also knew Wilko, who was in many respects completely unique, both in his approach to music and as an individual.

Motorbike Beat Lyrics : I'm hypnotised by the motorbike beat I've got the hots for a drive up the street I got the heat I got the beat I got the motorbike beat My favorite treat on the motorbike seat Is me and Mr. CC When I arrive you can hear the wheel squeal I got the feel for some mean street appeal The squeal appeal The steel appeal I got the motorbike beat My favorite treat on the motorbike seat Is me and Mr. CC But shouldn't we slow down We're heading for slow town On the motorbike Then I drive it away Ride in the night and I sleep in the day Take it away I gotta say I got the motorbike beat My favorite treat on the motorbike seat Is me and Mr. CC A particular treat when we go down the street Me and Mr. CC

I also wish I'd discovered these guys earlier than I did. Wilko attracted a lot of attention. And not without reason. But did that also make Lee's brilliance a bit easier to overlook? I"m almost completely unfamiliar with this guitarist. And he's not as compelling as Wilko. But he's no slouch either and this is a good band. Good performance here. I think these guys might have the Solid Senders beat. And I wouldn't say that lightly.
