My man, this is such a good video. I am chemistry student nearing the end of my associates and beginning my bachelor’s. Finishing my Ochems, Calc’s , etc. Number one question I get is “ what do you want to do with your degree? “ my answer everytime is “ I’m not far along enough in my journey to really know what you can do with the chemistry degree, all I know is I like to do chemistry. “ This gave me a great idea of what I could possibly go into as I further along my chemistry degree. I don’t know anyone going down the path that I am , so I don’t have any other peoples experience to look off of so this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Coming at this as an industrial chemist.... pentane would be above hexane, all chlorinated solvents would be D tier I wouldn't use them unless I really really had too, acetone I would probably substitute for methyl ethyl ketone, toluene I'd probably substitute for a mix of xylene isomers, diethyl ether I'd need a really good reason to use that too, THF is kind of expensive but excellent. Speaking just as a scientist - nobody uses carbon tet anymore but its brilliant at dispersing carbons.

Nice list and very enjoyable watch. You have good reasoning for why you put characters where they are. What I would change: Would put Rocket higher, but to be fair, his intelligence was most emphasized in the third movie and that wasn't out yet when this list was made. Would put MJ higher as well. She figured out pretty quickly that Peter was Spiderman, which in many super hero series/comics people closest to the alter ego fail to do for decades ;) Fury, I would put up one tier as well. That man knows a lot of things and can also react to unexpected events very quickly.

Can you speak really highly about bio chemistry but then disrespect A and P which is a class that explains a lot of the macro effects of those biochemical reactions 😂 so yes it’s real science the disrespect is wild

You get a thumbs up for all the effort you put in the video. Plus you had me laughing with some of your lines. It was definitely an enjoyable watch, But I'm going to say you made some pretty big mistakes. T'Challa, and Bruce Banner are considered two of the smartest people in the MCU. Luis, From Antman has been shown as cultured. His analysis of a situation during his recalls, Show he is always looking at every angle, And can repeat what was said verbatim. Those are just a few observations. I'm sure there are those that have org charts on their wall that were screaming the whole time, And cussing out my comment as well! Thanks for the content. I'll be sure to share it with my friend's!

What parallels, if any, exist between Pharmaceutical chemistry and bioorganic chemistry?
@triple_gem_shining
@triple_gem_shining 6 ай бұрын
A lot of parallels. In order to understand and manufacture pharmaceuticals one must understand biochemistry and largely organic application, although not entirely. To my understanding. You just understand the bio side to understand how these substances will act in the body and how to manufacture them with that knowledge and implications
