Donnatello was SO FKN OP in this game… I used to sacrifice ALL my other turtles in order to keep Donny for as long as possible! And yes I played this game from the time it came out til about 1994 when I finally gave up! I’m 39 years old and I’ve Still NEVER beaten this game!! 😩

My mom could make it to the tank thing, get inside and then immediately get her ass kicked. I couldn't even get pass the dam level, would have her beat it for me and then spend the rest of my time driving around on the next level. Would also purposely lose a turtle so i could save them lol

Stage 4 was my favorite; the Airport. When I was a child, my childhood friend and I could never get past stage 3 for some reason. I learned over time that Donatello was the strongest of the turtles in this game. And Michaelangelo is really good when at half life. So I strategized where Leonardo, Raphael, and Michaelangelo had the boomerang as their secondary weapon, since you can use it over and over, as long as you caught it on return flight back. Donatello I only used for the later bosses, such as the giant mouser, and the Technodrome. I also gave him the strongest weapon, which is actually given the name, "Kiai". It looks like a cresent beam, when it comes out, and is first found in the latter stages of stage 3 area.
