Hey Miss Rebel! Sent my seat to Wayne 3 weeks ago and he was very helpful and communicative. He called and said it was done, sent me an invoice which I paid and he said he would ship it back next day. 1 week later and no seat and he has ghosted me, not respondining to calls, text or emails. Are you local to him?

Hey Jay! I’ll call him tomorrow morning and see if he finished your seat. Unfortunately I live on the west coast, and I’m not close enough. Anyway just give him few days, probably he’s a bit busy or traveling around.

in my country the dr is a legend in the traffic becauseits legal to the bikes filter between the cars, the police and the military use dr's for its power and maneuverability

Depends on the bike too. If one is shaving a seat, presumably they are short. The chances of their knees being jammed into their torso are low. If you're taller but still want to lower the seat, you can always lower the pegs too.

Miss Rebel, a suggestion, if I may: It seemed like the first couple minutes of the down hill section you were coasting along (in neutral or clutch pulled), yes ? You'd feel more control & enjoy engine braking far more if in 1st or 2nd gear, it would resist your downhill momentum or even allow slightly faster speed, once you're comfortable with that. Great job. You're a boss lady to ride such a beast of a bike. I'm hoping my next wife is so inclined, as you are !

Im really thinking about getting this bike! Just wondering how tall are you? the only thing holding me back is the height of the bike /: also when it drops. I have a KLX 140 and its already heavy at 250 and this is i think a 350 pound bike! let me know :) Thanks!

I’m short 5’1 so I lowered the bike but it’s still too tall and too heavy for me. I put it on sale and I’m trying to get the XT250. The Dr650 is a great bike but I’m not comfortable on it when I’m riding dirt.

Trying to work out where you were in this video. Were you out by the dam at the end of Wueste Rd? Usually BP are cool. If they do stop you, they're just making sure you're not out there trafficking. They understand there's lots of off-highway riding and other activities that go on out here.

@Miss Rebel Moto Diaries I would like to try it too, but I think I bought the wrong bike lol, I got a 2022 vstrom 650, and I can't even ride it on a dirt road lol. I hope that putting a more dirt oriented tire on will fix the problem, lol.
