for the Desio delivery time, yes i noticed they take forever too BUT that is because you are ordering Toric/Astigmatism lenses, which as someone with astigmatism, i am SO glad they do because we deserve to use colored lenses too. Those they HAVE to custom make and say it on the website. If you do not have astigmatism, its about 1-2 weeks for US residents, maybe less

I was diagnosed with melonoma too .on my back , they removed the mole . I had 4 internal stitches 🪡 4 external stitches. I went back it was negative. But need to for 2 nd surgery soon to cut around the current scar

Ive just come across this, thank tou7 for yr story. I was diagnosed with 1b melanoma early this year its now July. I had the original lump removed then 2wks later i found a swollen lymph node which turned out to be cancer too. I am now stage 3c and go in for the next operation in 4 days. Its going to be a big op and a difficult recovery due to the locations. I'm still not sure how i feel. I'm not scared of the surgery but the recovery concerns me. I have everything crossed i survive this. I will be having immunotherapy and genetherapy after that. Im trying not to stress but it's hard to not let my head go to a negative space. There are many types of skin cancers not just Melanoma. Most of the others are slow growing but can still be serious and should be removed. Australia is one place where they are very common but Melanomas' are the least common thankfully. Anyone can have them but there are certain skin types that are more susceptible and it does come down to your exposure to UV rays. Notice I did not say the SUN because UV light as in tanning beds also cause skin cancers. Also note that the damage that shows up as a lesion one day was not caused buy the UV exposure last week or last month when you were outside on the beach or gardening or rock climbing it was probably prolonged exposure starting way back when you were a child. How do I know this? well I have had at least 20 lesions removed and not one of them was a mole so don't think they always look like that. My brothers have also had many lesions removed and none of us were sun baker at the beach we just did the normal stuff that people do outside in Australia like sport and swimming and camping but at the time we grew up sun screen was not around and being out in the sun was seen as being healthy for you. Thankfully none of mine have been a Melanoma but I have lost two friends to these and one of them had a skin type that you would call mediterranean which is considered a better option. Much depends on where the cancer cells spread to and what damage they do and it comes down to the luck of the draw. One of these friends was of Celtic skin type like me and died in his twenties and the other in his forties so take note of your skin regularly and stay out of the sun when you can or wear shade clothes and a hat and sunscreen. Remember even if your Melanoma is not fatal it can lead to some very radical surgery that can leave you looking not very nice.

My wife is a fair skinned redhead like you. Last year during regular physical doc noticed irregularity on left arm way smaller than a dime. FF...stage 2 melanoma, outpatient surgery (about a 7 inch scar), infection, etc. Fortunately they got it all. Get checked out!
