@@jonmorgan7621 There were actually quite a few customizers out there back in the day that did full repaints of the old TBS figures headsculpts. The most surprising thing to me at the time, was the fact that the actual sculpts themselves were shockingly good once you touched them up. It was the terrible and cheap paint apps Hasbro used that made them look so bad. Hellboy is the Mezco 2019ish movie version btw.

@@gyalis Uh, yea. That's exactly the reason why people are much more critical about higher end collectible stuff like the LooseCollector figures. You know what you're in for when you drop $25 on a Legends, and those expectations can be tempered. When you're dropping $75-100 on a figure, there's much higher expectations for quality I.E. NOT having them literally fall apart in your hands just trying to bend a leg or arm etc.

@@gnarkillguch as I said, a collectible is not the same as a toy with tolerances for children. This exactly why neca figures say not a toy on them for years

@@gyalis And as I said, that's why people are much more critical about expensive collectibles vs Legends. Again, I understand that Legends, McFarlane, whatever, are made and built for the mass market. But that fact doesn't also free a company from criticism if their product is SO fragile, that even just gently articulating the ACTION FIGURE (not statue) you bought from them results in it breaking into pieces. That's like saying that because Power Wheels are made for children, I shouldn't be upset if the brand new real car I just bought broke down right after pulling out of the dealership lot, because it says "not a toy" on it.

God, same here. I was just so hyped to be getting a Red Sonja figure that wasn't a statue and in my preferred scale that I just bought it without really thinking. The BF figure looks LEAGUES better than the LC, and I'm definitely looking forward to getting her in hand.

Damn, I didn't even realize it was that much. I think that's more than what Mafex is charging for their TDKR Batman and horse deluxe set lol. Definitely doesn't seem worth it.

@@gnarkillguch sorry my bad, I meant $150 dollars, it’s worse. $150 buys you a lot of much better figures. $25 more dollars would have bought you the SH Figuarts Cooler and that figure is beautiful in its vacuu-chrome and matte silver, and it came with a ton of hands and 4 face sculpts.

@@paulrippcord506 That's even worse lmao. I've seen the shipped figures, and they don't look anywhere near worth that much. $80 for the set would have been pushing it.

I've heard it both ways since I made this video. Some people have had zero problems with their figures, and others have had it just as bad, if not worse than my experience with the line. I'd imagine that LC is at least aware of the issues and making sure that the quality is getting better with every release, but who knows.

I dunno. I like to ramble lol.

I'm probably in the minority on that one, I just really wasn't feeling it. It's a fine figure, just wasn't for me.

Nah I think the proportions of mafex is a little bit more natural. And the visor of tbs helmet is a little bit too wide. Both look great tho

I own both. The proportions are better on the Mafex one. The Black Series version is bulked up, which would be fine if Mando was meant to have a superhero body…. but he’s not. He does look really good though, just less accurate to the show.

I do not lol. Just don't have the money or space for 12 inch stuff.
