What I wish I would've learned sooner would definitely be : Underestimating My Worth: I had a tendency to think that my love for working with flowers should translate into affordable prices for my customers. While I wanted to be accessible, I didn't consider the true value of my time and the uniqueness of my floral designs. As a result, sometimes struggled to cover my costs, and this impacted the long-term sustainability of my business. It was a valuable lesson to understand that fair pricing not only benefited me but also communicated the quality and value of my work to my customers. Over-Reliance on Social Media: I confess, I was a bit too enthusiastic about social media. While it's a fantastic tool for reaching a wide audience, | overlooked the value of personal connections. Building genuine relationships with customers in person can make a significant difference in the florist business. Not Hiring Assistants: I often thought I could handle everything on my own, but that was a mistake. Not having assistants meant I often worked long hours and felt overwhelmed. Hiring some help could have not only lightened the workload but also improved the overall experience for my customers. I want to encourage you because you can do it.
