Diamonds are gorgeous, caught a few out in the wild and moved a few off the road. As you already know though the only unfortunate part with them is how similarly they look to the broad headed snake and people get bitten by mistakingthem for diamonds.

Went for a wonder through Enoggera creek and thought I'd atleast see a snake and didn't come across any. Too cold? I thought they would have been out early trying to find some heat in amongst the rocks but didn't find anything.

The WA Tiger snakes I have seen are dark black with very defined yellow belly and stripes. Can be very aggresive around breeding season, I have had one flatten out its hood and chase me when I stumbled upon it near a river.
@axesofoz717
@axesofoz717 3 күн бұрын
Nearly stepped right on one of these a while ago. The only thing that saved me was seeing the bright yellow on its belly, otherwise it was among some rocks right near my boot and I would not have seen it till it was too late. Amazing how much their colour varies!

I think I’ve got “spotted black snakes”. living in the thunderbox, they are very timid, and never do anything but escape, you can move them out of the bird pens by hand. Is this normal? They act similar to yours slow and ezy. Always full of ratlings ( Often spew up if scared) so I keep them alive. They seem to be travelling the rat lines.

Hey Pete , you say it 4th deadliest, but boy I've looked into this and I say it goes 1 Inland Taipan Oxyuranus Microlepidotus, 2nd Easretn Brown PseudonajaTextillis , 3 Western Desert Taipan Oxyuranus Temporalis 4 Coastal Taipan Oxyuranus Scutellatus, and 5th Tiger snake Notechis Sculatus, 6 Southern/Common Death Adder Acanthophis Antarcticus , it's a very subjective topic I was being flippant , love it bro , and what a ripper you have there , mad colours cheers

I dont know but heard that makes the poachers who spend all the time tracking it down to just kill it so they dont spend the time on tracking it again? I dont know how to hunt rhinos or how they are. If they do go by tracking it down. Taking hours on footprints. Then that makes sense. But if they just drive around or what ever until they see one it may save it. I really dont know. Maybe if we could teach the chinese or who ever that horn does nothing more then chewing your own nails we could stop the poaching.
