@@hairysquatter These colored ten pound plates look far better than they perform. They are thin and flimsy. As shown in the other video, the CAP 55 pound plates are thick, and very solid. I also have a pair of CAP elite 25s, and they have held up well. I even bought my CAP 25s used, and still in like new condition. Skip these flimsy white 10s

@nicklesm202 Controlled eccentric is a great way to build muscle with eccentric overload. I am doing this exercise to specifically help me build strength in my overhead press. Competition overhead press only involves the concentric and the lockout, so I am less concerned with building muscle with this exercise execution. I use cable and dumbbell skull crushers for volume with a controlled eccentric. I drop the bar above me to not actually crush my skull.

@inspiration2213 I get that a lot when people see me lift stones. It is an advanced lift, which requires proper technique. The goal is to minimize spinal flexion, and use as must hip and leg drive as possible. This was a single motion lift, that I can only do with lighter stone such as this one

Heres my story 64 year old grandma takes 10 years old grandson to workhorse gym. He needs sonething he can call his own no athleticism at all 1.5 months of working lifts 65# atlas stone 5 times onto its frame? Gym Terminology sucks we make our own names up pround of this kid and its out 55 min a day together

@marcosalazar5267 I am super careful. I am practicing these lifts on my deadlift platform. It is made with 2 sheets of plywood, and 1.5 inches of rubber. I can drop these from overhead if I need to, and get out of the way. I only practice overhead press, when I have the freedom of dropping the implement at any time. Thanks for watching

@frantzracing0 This type of bar is very common in home gyms. This video was to help those who are not able to afford a premium bar. Also, the cost of less than $10, is less expensive than replacing the entire bar.
