Those Econolite poly buttonbacks are quite common around Ohio, and Indiana. Troy, Ohio has your Econolite bubblebacks. Piqua has Checkers(basically rebadged Eagle flat backs with the 12" heads looking like flat back and Crouse Hinds type R crossbred.)

Very interesting! I like the use of doghouse and fully protected turn signals for split phasing movements. Also that s shape span wire is interesting!

That 8-8-8-12-12 doghouse is pretty cool. Dayton Ohio has a bunch of them still in service. I've seen some of them on James H McGee Boulevard.

I had like only one traffic light and one pedestrian signal and that’s been going up for three years until I have now three pedestrian signals and five traffic lights

Like the pedestrian signal facing the camera. Its lens is exactly what the peds at Columbus and Main Streets in Xenia Ohio had before upgrading to LED.

@@Trafficlightiosproductionsalt typically visually impaired people are pretty attuned to crossing the street. APS make it much easier and should be required at all intersections but currently are not. Other brands like Campbell or Polara would be a good solution too.

@@TheTrafficTech yep. They’re called 24/7 green traffic lights. It means that the green stays on all the time unless the traffic lights have to be hardly reset or there is a power outage. Or even even unless they burn out or a fire truck has to cross the road.

@@TheTrafficTech with your traffic lights set up there is a signal like this that stays green, even when it’s in flash mode, but in the real world outside, if you look closely actually, they will shut off when the signals are in flash.
