Amazing work of art, but a strange Stihl model saw to pick, in my opinion. A ms261, ms440, ms460 or a ms661 would have be much better picks as a subject matter and I'd bet would be worth more too. Alot more fans of those models. Or a ms200t the most legendary arborist model saw that I know of that still sells at new prices for used saws and twice the price it use to sell for new, selling a new one today. But no matter the model they chose, that piece a art is amazingly well done. Wow. 😎👍 PS. It's the chain that is the most amazing part of it. Wow! Awesome job. 😲

Hi Rod …. I’ve just ordered me a Semi chisel chain, first time that I will be using one. I have only ever used full chisel all my life. I do believe that full chisel is intended for fresh green wood as opposed to the semi chisel which is for more dirty wood? Apparently it’s easier to sharpen and holds an edge longer while using. Great video, my friend…

That would be pretty sad if that stihl has a semi chisel , and almost caught the husky in the knotted log . Obviously it still lost. Husky sounded a tad higher on rpm
