Doing a all nighter isn’t necessarily bad as long as you don’t overdo it, but sadly some jobs require it. As long as you sleep after, you reset your sleep cycle. I’ve seen many do it for this benefit. I hope you recovered from being awake for almost 24hrs, and hope you sleep well!! You got this girl at this part in the video 14:45

As a college student that has been in a 2year gap year due to life, and reader in general. I feel like if you’ve never done one, then it’s best to start as soon as you wake up; and if you are or were a college student that finished at least at AA degree. Then you should know how to do it, but I’m happy to see how far you get through it.

I Totally agree with your review. THESE SERIES MADE ADDICTED TO ROMANTASY. But this book was a huge let down. I only enjoyed the first 300 pages with the escape of the boys from the Asteri dungeon, Lidia and Rhun relationship turnover. Well, the book would be top of top ig the author summarize the whole plot in some basic parts. Crossover with acotar, Rhun and Lidia, epic final battle with the Asteri. The matter with the antitode to Asteri parasite could be wait until the next book ( House of many Waters) since the parasite is in the water. That means, we didnt need to see so much of Tharion, Ithan and Sigrid,( useless and pointless sub plot). Baxian was an interesting side character in whom was given hype in the beginning, had so much potential( backstory with Danika, far more interesting love story than Bryces and Hunts). Fury is also an interesting side character since the CC1 but they both exiled in Avallen and we never hear from them again. The author had the basic material from CC1 and should work more the development of characters that we already knew from CC1. In the contrary, she wrote a book that feels so anticlimatic, full of plot conveniences and plot holes. I was so bored in the end. I feel more excited reading the reviews than reading the book.

For me it’s extremely tame, and isn’t the main plot of the story. For me it goes around the age they learn about sex education, which is generally considered for most depending on where you live can vary; but in the states during the time you start middle school I’d say its 12.5-14 as middle or new teenage and YA 13/14-20 maybe even pushing early 20’s, then new age or new adult is 21-and up. Part of my assessment in my eyes is maturity, brain function/maturity, and brain development; which makes sense for the way they perceive or read. Also even if we are critical on the age range, there are some 13 years olds that already know about sex; and just need sex Ed to be better prepared if they decide to do things. I know that I learned a lot in sex Ed, and was one of the ones that didn’t know much about sex before sex Ed; but learned through my teacher and occasional kids that knew a lot about it. It’s not like they’re getting vivid descriptions of what is happening in this book, and as a chess person I feel like she didn’t give enough chess in it… because it would bore most her audience who are into the romance; which is fine I guess. Although it sped through the chess fast, because she wouldn’t have went to face him until she gained more rating; and didn’t get any titles.

I have loved all of the Elsie Silver books I have read as well! I did skip hopeless though before going to read Wild Love - the reviews I saw made it sound like it was more about Bailey than Beau...I might go back and read it some day but not right now...Lyla Sage is definitely a new favorite author! I just finished Swift and Saddled last week and I gave it 5 stars but I agree with your comments that it could have delved deeper into how he dealt with his anxiety and depression vs just briefly mentioning it. I am excited to see what you think of Wild Love - it actually is my new favorite Elsie book so far - I thought it was SO GOOD!! 🤠🐮🤠

YA just has a too broad age range. YA should be like 14/15 to 18. And middle grade should go up to 13 or 14. I didn’t find it that explicit compared to things I read when I was a teenager or what I read now lol

Hi Ems. I feel very dissapointed too. Though I’m happy to get another book in the series, I do feel this book is not well done. The other two gave us at least an eplilogue, but this didn’t. I guess the bonus chapters might serve as an epilogue, but I did feel that the last chapter was sort of a closure on Bryce’s and Hunt’s story. And I just didn’t enjoy enough how everything with the Asteri was wrapped up. There were a lot of things that I liked. Lidia and Runh are also my favevourites. I do suggest you read the Bonus chapter of Ember and Randall and Az/Nes/Bryce. This one in particular got me excited for the upcoming ACOTAR book.

How do you feel about the Sofie/Emile story? I have about 100 pages left of HOFAS and still don't feel like I understand why the thunderbirds are so important! Although I'm sure in typical SJM fashion, it'll be revealed in the last 10 pages 😂 Look forward to your review of the next one!

Their story definitely served a small purpose for me, but felt glossed over. I remember the thunderbirds being talked about a little bit but again was glossed over!! I hope you enjoy the rest of the book!! :)
