Honestly speaking, I think the Accent was not necessary because during that age English probably didn't exist anyway, they basically spoke GREEK, or whichever language, so accent wasn't really necessary man

i really hope there are plenty of death animations for every unit. just like in starcraft, it makes the game so much better, this love for detail. despite ebing a very big fan of AoM, the death animations seem a bit simple so far.

Please make walls and defensive gameplay stronger again. In the original game it was good but the steam version that has Chinese in it the walls are useless.

Having played the beta so far, I do not like the voice actor choices for characters like Arkantos. Game design choices though are overwhelmingly on point however.

One thing I wished Retold would have done was also add Heroes for Norse and Egyptians like a Ragnar or. Hero Ramses rd aswell instead of just “Pharisee” or “hersirs”. Felt like with the classic AOM they gave just a little bit more love to the Greeks. I would pay extra if yall do that in the future

Seeing what they did with AOE4...I have low hopes for a suces for this. Yes it will sell like mad, becasue sheeple and their nostalgia will go beserk, but then, when the dust settles again, we'll see what they did this time to ruin a great game....

Try AOE4 on game pass to get used to similar controls. It's a lot better on console than you'd think.

Game illustrations, god portraits (when u choose them during age up) in game looks incredibly cheap and tasteless, please make them better, you did an amazing job and those awful art doesn't fit the high quality of the game, they look like they are from cheap mobile game...
