i agree with everything in the video except the part when she says to have your fingers to the ceiling. my coaches always say it is much smoother to have your fingers pointing to the walls, and it takes much less energy than trying to get high enough the have your fingers pointing directly at the ceiling.

Do not hold the board on the sides. You want to keep the board as parallel to the water line as possible. Use a smaller board for kids.

Nice. Can you make another one but with monofins next time? A little bit more footage in water would b nice too.

I have a question, is it possible to practice swimming using side mounted snorkel instead of front mounted ones?
@SimplyswimUK21 күн бұрын
Side-mounted snorkels aren't ideal for practicing swimming technique for a few reasons: Body Position: Front-mounted snorkels are designed to allow your head to stay in a streamlined position. Side-mounted snorkels might encourage you to tilt your head more, which disrupts body alignment and creates drag. Rotation: Freestyle breathing involves a natural head turn to the side. A side-mounted snorkel might hinder this rotation, making it difficult to practice proper breathing techniques.
@SimplyswimUK21 күн бұрын
f you primarily want to focus on body position and stroke technique, a front-mounted snorkel or a centre-mount snorkel might be a better choice. Breathing: If you want to incorporate breath control and bilateral breathing practice, a frontal snorkel with a bilateral breathing tube could be beneficial. Hope this helps...

Cold air circulating around the pocket is not going to keep cold water cold. It's going to warm it up. Think about it.

Having a huge problem with this watch. it worked for about two months. Now the readout is illegible, the set up is impossibly confusing, the buttons very difficult to control and differentiate, and it started counting seconds through to ninety, etc, so now we need to restore the factory settings and start over, but of course there is NOTHING in the manual or online on how to do this. as the screen is the problem, there seems to be no way now to work through the steps of which there are far too many and too similar...This is an invention which is NOT user friendly at all.
@SimplyswimUK2 ай бұрын
I would suggest that you contact the manufacturers directly, they are very helpful and should be able to advise you on what the next step is.

I literally just posted somewhere asking for goggle suggestions - I swim indoors, I hate when they fog up, and I want them to be clear.
@SimplyswimUK3 ай бұрын
Me too! most goggles come with a coating of anti-fog, so make sure you never touch the inside of the lenses as it will deteriorate the protection. You can also buy anti-fog spray, (here is the link) www.simplyswim.com/products/anti-fog-spray and because you've invested in your goggles, make sure you always protect them after each swim with a goggle case www.simplyswim.com/products/simply-swim-premium-swim-goggle-case Hope that helps!
