Why is Geralt so stupid? It annoys me. I know the game Geralt is older than the book Geralt, but still their iq levels are too different.

The fact that he says a line in Georgian is no coincidence- its a very subtle reference to Gaunter being the Devil. There's an old song by an American musician called "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". Which tells a tale about him going the the US state of Georgia, but they used the language spoken in the country of Georgia as a "hint" to Gaunter's true nature.

I don't know what is the dilema here with these developers. Just make everything the samecas witcher 3, only add story stuff and change locations to be consistent with first and second. Everything else was perfect. There is honestly no need to make anything better or different. I would gladly subscribe to witcher 3 just getting new in game content. Problem with trying to do better that perfect is that by definition you end up with worse. Same as perfect is still perfect. Different than perfect is...well worse :) if it ain't broken, don't try to fix it...

We could've had a Letho game, an Eskel game, hell follow lambert and Kiera. Is the gaming industry creatively bankrupt? I say this as someone who likes both og Re4, and the remake. Can they not think of something else, something new? Remakes are getting old. The old devs working on it gives me some hope, please no modernity injected into my fantasy role playing game.

I kinda hope the remake the Witcher 2 as well that way later we can have a witcher trilogy bundle where the games kind of all come together and lead into each other more seamlessly. As of now for example only witcher 3 is available on ps5 but if they remake witcher 1 and 2 and release on PlayStation the less initiated into the franchise can enjoy the entire trilogy of games since most people myself included have really only experienced the last part of geralts story in this franchise with the Witcher 3.

8:00 Easy fix - stronger/weaker items. You get stronger potions from campfire menu and weaker ones from inventory. Bosses require preparation, regular monsters.. not so much. These are basically extra, unnecessary options for the player that consume development time, but it's always nice to have more options in the game... I need more options like edible items giving you stamina bonus etc, kinda like they did in B&W with Corvo Bianco - bed, stables.. or em.. Reginald statue. Regular daily activities that give you small boost to few stats, that really don't affect the gameplay for majority of players but can add extra fun nerdy nerds

My Opinion, a sequel set a 2-20 years after Witcher 3. Call back to the second conjoining as reasons for new and returning monsters, financed by either Dijkstra or Radovid's Replacement, let Mutagens play a more defined role in a Witcher's skill sets, Ex) werewolf mutagen makes you stronger with the fuller moon, while equipped rather than as potions that can't be used in some builds or at low level, let Novigrad be the furthest south we can get, so Hatori can be redeemed as a master sword smith. but we can travel as far east as Mahakama and as far west as Kovir, and give us stealth, ambush is a valid and important hunting strategy, seeing more diverse tools and the Heliotrope sign would be really cool, let it feel like a new and improved witcher school that has culminated centuries of experiments spurred on by renewed fear of monsters and new species of non humans or return of other races. Staring with a new character and a trial of the grasses is crucial though, but if Lambert is doing it, it has to have a higher success rate, or be absolutely necessary. and his conscious could be a defining limiter on how many witchers they make.

I think dragons must be on witcher 4 on same frequency as they do on Elden Ring. They're not common anemies, but aren't exclusively rare to the point of being an exception. Would be nice to find some contracts or secondary questlines on them.

Yeah. I got into the Witcher games late. Witcher 3 was the first one I played. I have also begun reading the books. I got my girlfriend to watch this show with me because I was really excited. The show is so far from source material that I spent the whole time telling her I had no idea what was going on 😂

Baldur's Gate 3 is a true RPG, The Witcher 3, despite being onf of the very best games ever made, is not. Choices in TheWitcher 3 are way more limited.

The best witcher game so far. Witcher 2 sucked and 3 was a story disappointment that completely forgot about its roots from the first game.

Kind of odd for a Witcher focused channel to not be cool with a quintessential aspect of being a witcher, preparing for the fights. Gathering the ingredients, brewing potions and get yourself ready for each battle, like a....witcher.

I think open-world is unnecessary, but it's happening; when you mentioned expanding Temeria, I would actually kind of like to see La Valette castle before the siege. Maybe Velen before it was war-torn. Mahakam would be cool.

tried to get into witcher 1 several times and never really got far most of att because its so different vs w3 in many ways still the story i want out of the game so its a bit sad i have so hard to just sit down n keep playing this 1st classic game that started it all and a series that i hope will survive me even.. So is there anything to think about when jumping into the witcher 1 game for the 1st time?? Is the 1st game still worth playing in 2024? Yes it is...but i never seem to take the time unfortunatly it ends up in w3 time n time again(well over 1000 hours at this pointg so a play through of w1 would be great to get more new story.. Thanks 4 this video(i will look around in the nexus mods for info on what there is for the w1 game)

I got Witcher 1 on my pc and it was so frustrating to try to play gameplay wise it has aged very poorly in my opinion it’s the only game I haven’t played and beaten so I’m excited for the remake

CDPR's ESG and DEI policy will kill all upcoming Witcher projects. We can look forward to projects from all the former Witcher creators who have left CDPR and founded their own studios - such as Rebel Wolves.

Probably going to retcon Witcher's being sexually over active, less of a ladies man. Brothels and romance cards excised, breasts on female models made smaller and less cleavage shown to avoid the "Male Gaze" and the sexualization of women. Probably add more female power fantasy and of course a staple of modern day entertainment the all powerful colored woman usurping the lead role from the white male. Oh and Geralt will either be gay or bi now. So probably be able to seduce Dandelion. There's your modernization for you. Everything else will be great though, open world exploration, combat mechanics, outstanding high def. environment visuals. I've still got the books and the original games and I'll give them up over my dead body for woke nonsense "Modern day sensibilities". They'll probably keep gambling though because addictive gambling is fine, but fan service bad...lol.

Hearing you talk about not having the hardcore rpg elements would be up your alley made me laugh. They probably won't make it with that, we'll need mods for that again, I was a part of the crowd that needed the Witcher 3 to be harder, both in combat and mechanics. CDPR will probably make it casual af just so its accessible to everybody, thats the way it goes with games today. Witcher was never a hardcore rpg :)
