Ok, so, your first mistake was NOT applying any debuffs on Matador or buffs on your party when you had the chance. Good idea to get the critical to gain half-press turns, but you should have used the other four halves make it harder for him to kill you. Your second mistake was having ANYONE that was weak to Force skills in your party against him. In fact, if you would have had someone that could block/evade/absorb/reflect Force skills, his turn would have ended instantly.

Pretty tricky to perfor since Sayama has to be near you,enemy needs to attack and you need to press the heat action button while not locked on..its kinda specific

I don't think it was smt's fault. Matador gathered magatsuhi so you should have used your additional turns to guard. And you didn't use any buffs aside from defense on Nahobino. I know I'm 2 years late and nobody asked.

@@aiis6821 generally, the secret sauce to seamless looping is making sure that the beginning and end of the waveforms meet up at the same place, sometimes overlapping if need be (as long as it fits the timing, though this is on a case by case basis). It helps to zoom in at the seam in audacity and cut/fade the smallest amount to have both meet up at 0. That being said, the loop you did here thankfully works well on a macro scale. Hopefully this stays up for a while, since most ff13 ost extensions have been taken down.

My first death in SMT V came at the hands of Matador, I made the mistake of taking him on when all of my party members were only around level 15. Though I did come surprisingly close to taking him down, it was pretty much down to who got in the next hit and he ended up taking down my Nahobino. I waited until my party members were around level 25 on average before challenging him again and the fight went much better that time.
