You keep underestimating Remco as a one-day rider... I remember in your prediction video before this season, you didn't pick Remco to top3 any of the Olympic or World races. As a World champion on both the TT and RR you should have given him more respect and he already won the Olympic TT last week to prove you wrong and I think he will keep doing that if not today then at the Worlds.

Small teams, small peleton, no radios...it will be a random crapshoot. But it is not going to be Bini - who has no teammates and nobody will bring him into a sprint. It will not be MVDP because there is going to be so much action from the start, it will present a situation where the Dutch will lose either way. The winner will come from a break well before Montmartre.

Great video. It will be depend a lot on you is the most juiced, but by bet would be with Biini first and Remco second.

The race will be uncontrollable. Very hard to do predictions on this one. At least 10 to 12 riders can win. The Belgian and French bloc are probably the strongest as a team. But the French won't make the same mistake as in Australia. Mathieu is the man to beat. Belgium has to play out Benoot and Stuyven into early attacks. I suspect that Van der Poel will not let Remco and Wout go up the road and Remco and Wout will not let Mathieu go. Multiple alternate attacks from both the Belgians will be the only way to put daylight between Remco/Wout and Mathieu. But it is likely that a strong group is already up the road at that point. Remco may have the ability to reach that group solo and then leave them behind. If the bunch ends up sprinting it's a lottery.

My pick not on this list is Mohoric, with no comms we could very well see a Mohoric break win. Flashbacks to the Toyko Women's Road Race if anyone else remembers that catastrophic rider management that happened there due to no comms.

Mohoric is indeed one of those few guys that can go the distance, read the riders, sneak out 5k from the line without being countered too much.

None of the van der Poel, Pederson, van Aert triumvirate have shown any real form in the past month. OK, maybe Wout did a good time trial but some of that was due to the rain. If and that's a big if that it comes to a sprint then Girmay and Matthews are definitely in with a shot but I'm seeing more like a secondary favorite winning from a break because hard to control this long a race with a four man team and none of the favourites will want to chase themselves.

Another interesting one is norwegian Triathlon superstar Kristian Blummenfelt (olympic gold, and world record and title in ironman) making a change to cycling, and likely signing with Jayco. He has the highest ever recorded VO2 Max, at a likely 103-104, and he will for sure be a beast. The team around him and their science is wanted by everybody, and his own coach said that they will be aiming for yellow at tdf in 2028. Could be fun to follow for sure!

Remco wins the TT. The course has a lot of false flats, a lot of bends where you need to slow down to 40 kph and reaccelerate afterwards which plays in his hand. He is in great shape after TdF and has been doing solely steady high intensity efforts these past weeks, perfect preparation. Add to that the TT is his focus with a road course suiting more punchy guys.
