This is quite possibly the best version I have ever heard. It has so much power. May I ask how this was ‘remastered?’ I assume all of this was done in a DAW, with MIDI’s, from the ground up? A remix if you will? If so then this is produced so well. The perfect sound for the bass, the brassy lead that cuts through the mix and altogether a very well balanced mix. So much energy. I applaud you good sir.

Thanks. I guess it's technically more of a remake than an actual remaster as I didn't use any of the original audio files. I simply downloaded the original SNES .spc file from Zophar's Domain, extracted the midi using VGMTrans and imported the track in Cubase using similar sounds from my VST plugins. For this one I mainly used Vengeance Avenger, Nexus 3, Tina Guo Cello & the Kontakt Factory Library trumpet.

Finally! Someone that understands this song. What most remasters get wrong: 1. Tempo is always slower. 2. They trade out the choir for trombones or some other instrument. 3. For this song particularly, they always take away from the percussion. Well done!
