I remember my first book in the series was the redstone handbook. Fast forward to today and I have all the original books (pre-updated guides for those who aren't familiar). The books still have some details that are accurate to the game, while some aren't.

The books had some good advice. I like that It stated to make a shelter on your first night and get a bed. These are crucial things to do for people new to Minecraft.
