J'aime aussi ces images, mais aujourd'hui je suis beaucoup plus partagé quand à l'utilité de ces rallyes, ce sont sûrement des bons souvenirs pour certains mais quelque chose me dit qu'ils ne doivent pas être aussi bons pour d'autres.

Il faut laisser les moustiques pour les oiseaux, et puis ça évitera de faire porter la disparaition de nombreux oiseaux sur les chats, insecticides à outrance, de moins en moins d'insectes pour les oiseaux, c'est la chaîne alimentaire du moins une partie, maintenant on peut rouler toute une nuit et avoir un pare-brise pratiquement sans un insecte collé dessus, c'était pas le cas des années en arrière, c'est pas interrogateur ? C'est la race humaine qui porte la faute et en grande partie, le chat n'y est pas pour grand chose.

That was a vintage year for the RAC Rally IMO. All the top drivers were there and I was lucky enough to be one of the sound recordists in the two film crews that made this film. Seeing it again after all this time brings back some very happy memories, as well as a few less happy ones of going without much sleep, getting cold wet and muddy and so on. Good times.

Though not very much power, 250 brake or so, those Group 4 cars were spectacular in that they didn't have much grip neither...Slipping and sliding all over the place! Hard work driving them on the limit between the trees on slippery surfaces!

Was hoping to see #66 Songol Frank, a maverick indeed, private entry, retired in both 82 and 83 races but never stopped trying. Watched this in his memory. R.I.P dear uncle. Love and respect, always in our memories ❤

Mijn Frans is slechter dan mijn Nederlands maar volgens mij vraag je of ik ook film heb van nr. 41 😉. Familie vd Hel in de Astra? Wij liepen op KP Kautenbach omlaag en zeiden “geef gas” tegen jullie 😂. Ik zal eens kijken de komende dagen of ik beelden heb, ik dacht van de Jump wel.
