While documenting the C&NW Business Cars at Fox Park in Council Bluffs, Iowa I often would take break and watch them as they were switching the Business Cars.. That can be a pretty involved process making sure the cars were facing the right direction and the placement of of other cars as well.

Born and raised in Des Moines until age 15, then farmed North of Charles City. Have had my American Flyer since I was 11. 1952, Since then, HO and a lot of it. However, at 83 a disabled veteran and cancer survivor I am unable to finish my layout in Gilbert AZ and will start to sell or contribute many items. A Rock Island fan from my youth going from Des Moines to Kansas City and later Mason City to Kanas city I am a devout Rock Island collector, sort of. I have about 20 Grain cars from many Iowa towns and granaries that i would love to contribute to your club. I really like this part of the layout really well I can see the Transfer trains that do come in from other Railroads and you know that's great to see in my books my hats off to you on your N scale layout hey I have been in N scale trains for about 45 years and I still love it and that's for sure and thank you for showing your layout to us it looks great and thanks again

Hey I like your N scale layout I see you have a lot of Santa Fe locomotives and train cars that's cool I even saw some of those 62 ft Coors Beer Box Cars hey I have Quite a few of those types of Box Cars Cars I too like Santa Fe Railroad and you know my Favorite Western Railroad is the Southern Pacific Railroad I have a lot of SP locomotives and SP Train Cars even though my all time Favorite Railroad in the USA is Louisville and Nashville Railroad I have more of locomotives and train cars then anything else but I have a lot of others and that's a fact I m a N scale Train collection And I have over 5500 train cars and I have 125 locomotives to my collection
