The thing is that Superman only used half his abilities there were possibly some he only used as a last resort say if he was weakened by an unknown form of energy similar to kryptonite or red solar energy. He may have telekinetic abilities. Or astral projecting abilities to he may not use them all the time?

Could've been a more suspenseful scene if Jimmy was required to go up the walls as they closed in and once up he had to scurry to stop the machine.

It goes back to his origin. ALL of his powers were psionic in nature. His flight, strength and invulnerability were all telekinesis. His heat vision was pyrokinesis, like Stephen King's fire starter. His cold breath cryokinesis. X-Ray vision was clairvoyance. Even is ability it disguise himself with just a pair of glass was him sending out a telepathic suggestion of "I'm not Superman" to everyone around him. Later the comics started deviating from that origin, then tings god real wired, before they reigned it back in and forgot the source material

this makes no sense Superman can't do that. the kryptonite should have stopped from using any kind of power. in the end the Adventures superman show became a little bit cheesy.

ok, after coming back to this video 8 months later, I realize how absurd this scene was.. Not that it was physically impossible to do if you're a totally in shape super athlete, but weak ass Jimmy Olsen in a business jacket? If it was 8 or 10 feet maybe, but 60 feet? His triceps, biceps and shoulder muscles, not to mention his glutes, would have given out before he got halfway and he would have fallen back to the bottom! Not to mention Lois doing it in heels?? But as a 10 year old you dont think about that

Five takeaways from this episode: 1. Lois could have stopped the wall laying flat on the ground instead of levitating. 2. Lois has an incredibly strong spine and hard head, which we already knew. 3. Jimmy Olsen has mad ninja-like climbing skills. 4. The bad guys don't know how to design a spine-crushing drive system for their movable wall. 5. Superman is an a-hole for not rescuing Lois and for using her head as a doorstop.
