hi, i played the mission already but i didn't understand the meaning of the object that Ratio left to Aventurine. I don't remember, can someone tell me what it means? Ik it helped him but I didn't get how. Hope someone can respond :(

hello! the object that ratio left to aventurine was a note of advice to him, to be opened if aventurine was on his last legs (which is when he ended up in the nihility void) i suck at summarizing but aven believed that there was no meaning to his life, after all he has been through and how he lost everything. believing too that no one would care if he would one day disappear. ratio's note in that object showed that he does truly care about him, saying to "do stay alive" while everyone around aven doesn't like or outright wants to kill him. and also with acheron's guidance, aventurine gained the will to continue living. you can see slight changes in his attitude in the messages we get between him and trailblazer. he still has to put up the facade in the IPC but for sure because of that, there's some hope in him again thanks to both ratio and acheron hope that explained stuff well! writing this at 4am is not making my braincells work 😭😭

Oh god this song truly does connect to ratiorine and their deep seeted loneliness/unfulfillment that they both experience, thanks for the animatic. I just noticed, on second watch, at 1:23 when the blue Aventurine starts appearing is that meant to be the "future" Aventurine we see in the quest? Which really is just the personification of the insecurity and self-hatred Aventurine has for himself? If so, genius.
