Do you know why the RPC server from the joined machine stops working when it queries the Domain? For example, if I run any command with the /domain parameter, the following output appears: System error 1722 has occurred. The RPC server is unavailable. But I have already fixed the relationship and the RPC servers is running both on the client workstation and the domain controller. This only happens if the trust is broken, at least, in my experience. Any clues? Thanks in advance.

Great tutorial thanks! Right at the beginning you say you "just gave it a static ip" adress - If I do the same (10 0 0 1 and DNS) I see "unidentified network" at my ethernet adapter. I wonder why you dont get this message? Do you have DNS server connected or do I get this wrong.. sorry not much network expertise

Hi, i am planning migration from DC1 to DC2 in my lab to solve evaluation expiration period (i know i can rearm, but this is also a good exercise). So far i moved FSMO roles, joined DC2 as secondary DC and next step would be migrating DHCP and DNS. DC1 is also CA for domain and for SCCM so in my mind i would like to proceed as follows: Migrate DHCP and DNS as they are and then when demote and power off DC1, rename DC2 to DC1 and change IP to the current one set for DC1 to avoid messing with Certificates and not having to create DNS alias records Does that make sense? Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the awesome tutorial. I am now trying to make the permission so that the user cannot delete the Accounts folder, but can delete all folders and files inside. If I set the "full control" for the user on the Accounts folder to "subfolders and files" and "read, write & execute" to "this folder only" the Account folder will be able to be deleted. If I set the permissions on the Account folder to "read, write & execute" to "this folder,subfolders and files" I cannot edit the name and contents of the files in the Account folder, nor can I delete the Accounts folder. Can you please help me to set such permissions? I apologize for my English, I hope the description is understandable. Thank you for your help.

I ran into an issue and found a way to resolve it, if you get any issues relating to === Making sure the deployment share has the latest x86 tools === === Processing LiteTouchPE (x86) boot image === Head to C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64 and copy it, then in the same folder paste it and rename the folder to x86 and it will look like this C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Windows Preinstallation Environment\x86. This will mean it will check it's there despite not being needed, it's just that MDT expects to see it there despite MS no longer including 32-bit.

just install 10 again, takes less time :p

Instead of removing autheticated user and adding it back to delegation, it's simpler to just go to delegation > advance and remove apply. Just a suggestion.
