There is most definitely weathering between the layers, with some layers indeed showing gullies. There's not so much soil because the layers are primarily either sandstone, or limestone. Sandstone is formed in deserts, and limestone is formed in the shallow ocean. A single flood cannot possibly account for BOTH the deposition of these rock layers AND the erosion of the rock layers. Please read from a book from an actual geologist. These wolves in sheep's clothing are leading you away from the truth. Science doesn't contradict the Bible. The global flood happened at the end of the last Ice Age when all of the glaciers melted catastrophically. God is glorified by deep time.

No, it is not evidence of a global flood. There has NEVER been a global flood on Earth. Why are you inserting Noah and the animals 2X2 into this story? Dishonest much?

You stated that there was only one iceage....that is demonstrably false. There have been at least five major ice ages in Earth's history (the Huronian, Cryogenian, Andean-Saharan, late Paleozoic, and the latest Quaternary Ice Age). Outside these ages, Earth was previously thought to have been ice-free even in high latitudes; such periods are known as greenhouse periods.

If you're going to talk about science, learn how to pronounce the rhetoric correctly to have a compelling argument. But in all honesty creationism is hilarious. Millions of educated people around the world study these things and have a consensus. But have an opinion, just make sure it's and educated one.

Hi Lissette, There are some books out there that have some bad information regarding the Bible. God made two great lights on the fourth day. One to rule the day, the other to rule the night. He only made two great lights on the fourth day according to the Bible. Based on the purpose for the two lights it seems that the two great lights are the sun and the moon. I enjoy your videos and glad you are doing what you are doing. Nathan

Many years ago I was on vacation with my kids at the beach in Gulfport. It was incredible but warm. Stingrays were coming up on the beach so we had to be careful. On the way home birds were flying north. Birds don't fly north. A week later after we returned home the biggest storm of the century wiped Gulfport off the map. The very hotel where we were staying was stripped down to the slab. The storm was Katrina.

Hi again! I forgot to mention-right on, as the famous proverb says: 'You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.' Only God can give faith; it'll all catch up to them - you have good words of wisdom! Also, I totally agree-you cannot convince someone to have faith. We cannot prove faith, but it is reasonable to believe, especially when considering the grandeur of this universe, the vastness of life, and the ultimate yearning for meaning, knowing that something higher and greater must exist-an ultimate bliss. Similarly, an atheist can also say they cannot prove their disbelief, but it can also be reasonable not to believe.

Hi Lissette, thank you for your video and for sharing your thoughts! The Bible offers a wealth of wisdom, written by different individuals or communities of believers who were inspired by God and Jesus to write about faith. While we can reference the Bible with archaeological and historical evidence, it's important to note that the Bible is not a history book in the conventional sense. Not everything in it is factual like a recorded camera; rather, biblical scholars often explain the Bible as akin to reading a newspaper. It contains 'articles' based on facts, discusses tragedies using metaphors and figures of speech, presents various points of view, interpretations of eyewitness accounts, includes genealogical records, and other narratives that may be less factual but intended to convey deeper meaning and understanding of faith. It essentially provides a witness account based on a specific window of time. In the Ancient Near East, we find many extra-biblical sources. Every nation had its own flood story, and we happen to have a version of it in the Bible. Similarly, every civilization had its own creation explanation and perspective on life. While there is truth within these narratives, it's important to understand that truth doesn't always align with the factual scientific evidence we are accustomed to today. Therefore, one must engage in intellectual discourse to study civilizations and history, along with theological studies, to appreciate the richness and depth of this book.
