Hello! Nice job on the video for the antenna, and the company. I have been active on 6 meters for many years, and its still my favorite band. If you play with 10m, it acts alot like 10. The big difference is on vhf, the use of maidenhead grid squares in the exchange. Hope to hear you on the band. Good luck, sir! 73s, N8SGM.

What would be the difference if I stacked it vertically instead? What should I do to have it twin-stacked?
@antennasamplifiers8 ай бұрын
The stacking distance is 2200mm for 2m 15.3 dBi and 70cm 17.7 dBi. Will work perfectly.

Just bought the PA144-432-19-3-2CBP, and I'm wondering what the difference is between the 432-434 and 430-440 models? Seems like the 432 model still has a low SWR towards 440. Thanks for the quality antenna, looking at buying the small 50/70MHz yagi to compliment the rotator :)

Once 20 meter band stays solid, but closes in on s9 station range, 15 is about to let you continent hop, might even get Australia, bouncing above the Gulf of Mexico stations. 10 meter is a tide to tide time dx band, nearly everyday, and 6 meter is an f layer or tropo-ducting band.

Beautiful antenna. Most impressive. BUT...... to build such a nice antenna and use coiled up coax for a balun? How disgusting ! Barry
@antennasamplifiers2 жыл бұрын
Good coaxial cable balun as we put on antenna has number of advantages compared to ferrite balun. Air balun have proven common mode impedance that does not saturate with higher powers. Coaxial balun can not be blown by high power or SWR. Maximal power on antenna depends only on used coaxial cable and connector. On this antenna you can put as much power as you can up to the moment you melt coaxial cable or connector.
@ERICtheLATE2 жыл бұрын
Put it in pvc or an old hollowed out power pole transformer housing full of epoxy, and it will be worth $500 and not be tacky, it does truely hurt the asthetic looks...lol
