wouldn't it be cheaper to get a talon 2 and just get a new fork?

deore so good i replaced my deore xt derailleur with standard deore and it works the same but is now stronger since it has steel cage instead of lighter alu frame in xt.... i left with xt shifter as i bought the bike, so great drivetrain i cant imagine better, it shifts under load when i climb 20% or more, casette got 5000km and still going strong, best what i had

Hi. I bought a second-hand bike from a second-hand shop. But the series is not visible. And it's strange. because it has 3x8 speeds, but the shifter is only with two, not with three. something is wrong and I would like to know. How can I figure out which model it is? I need to know what model it is because it has some defects and I need to buy some parts, and I don't know what model it is. Do you think you can help me? Thank you

Interesting accessorizing. I just got an Ergon Enduro saddle in oil slick, that brings a subtlety to the my black carbon frame. For myself, that's enough bling.

This is what most people in the weird world of mountain biking know as a 'Bike Shop bike' Vs the other kind of bikes people commonly refer to as 'Department store bikes' like say the Hyper E-ride. In this topic the Bike-Shop bike here is a rather cheap version of a Bike shop bike for a E-bike. Plus a Mid-drive for that fact. So in it's sense of the term for Bike-Shop-Bike budget version E-bike. Yes. As most standard bike-shop-bikes go for anywhere around 1000+ for standard non-e-bike versions. Since version without it's E-bike ability would be the cheapest at 500 but with old style V-brakes and likely higher with Discs.

The battery range is 175 kms ? I want to be able to ride for like 5 hours on trails and mountains but don't want to have to bring a second battery . My MTB e-bike I have now has a range of 70 kms but going uphill all the time it's like 20 km range .
@KillerRaptorr
@KillerRaptorr 4 ай бұрын
Most will do roughly 20-30miles of max range out on trails on the dirt. The max ETA range is based on smooth roads with no hills at LOW level power settings. Mainly the rider is powering more then the bike itself. So when you're on High power and ripping up the off-road that range normally goes down 80-90%. Never expect any so called pre-built E-bike to do over 50miles off-road on high power with mainly the motor working most of the time.

Got a Talon 3, did you installed a tapered fork to your straight tube? Did you need to convert using an adaptor and what is the diameter of your head tube. Thanks! More power to your channel.

That's sick! In my opinion it's slightly too bling, I would go for a standard black chainring, pedals, bars and bottle cage, but everything else looks awesome!

For a Bike-Shop-Bike that normally you find in a shop vs a Department store. Yes. Including fitted with a 'Mid-Drive' system. So as term for is Budget. Is pretty good. As even most standard bike-shop-bikes can range from 1000$ at starting price to above. This company though has a cheap 500-600$ one with older style V-brakes. But i think the upgraded Disc version is more pricey. Even Hyper's E-Ride Mid-drive version was going around for 1500$ at that was from walmart/aka department store bike. So pick your idea of being 'budget' if you think 2000$ isn't cheap. Most of the real big game lighter e-bikes are tapped around 4000$-5000$ for the cheaper ends.

It's a nice video, but thank god for the modern MTB handlebars. It's like in 2005 with 650mm wide bars they didn't have MTB's or ride gnarly trails. Or... did they? 😜 The whole trends of wider handlebars is just a trend applicable to only those who ride downhill trails. In XC and typical daily MTB rides (not downhill trails) 650mm bars are plenty wide :) Keep up with quality content!

Wow bro, no faster way to ruin a XC bike then putting those bars on it.. looks terrible and defeats the purpose of having an XC/DC bike.

compared to the other leading bikes with 'Mid' drive systems. You're looking at a 'Cheap' ability unless you snag a Hyper E-Ride from walmart. Most mid-drive bike-shop bikes will be around 4000-5000$ for good systems. So this is 'Cheap' from a bike-shop-bike system. Compared to what you'd find from other stuff.

The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. kzfaq.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.

Very nice rebuild. Your buddy looked proper chuffed. Heck of a hard seat though. Might aswell sit on metal... Got a question to anyone who knows please - you know the actual lower frame bush on older mountain bikes like this, the one just in front of the crank / bottom bracket, how do you get that out please? I need to replace mine because there's quite a lot of side to side play there. I've got basic tools and a tidy socket set.
