Good decision by Jeff to leave them unfinished and unreleased. Proves that even great songwriters have their off moments....

Hi, I agree, but you would be surprised, most of the songs from this album sounded very much likes these, until Jeff did his magic. All the best Kenny

Very good song but NOT on this album, clashing styles...

How great would it if Jeff re-released the whole album with the bonus outtakes

Hi I agree, but Jeff being a perfectionist I don't think he would want people to hear anything but the finished product. All the best Kenny

Wild fire wrote the song there was a misunderstanding with 2 of the band members, and they left the band Tony Wilson take the song and it became a hit.

And Time - 1981? Still, in 1973-74, many art-progressive-folk-rock performers made concept records: Yes, Jethro Tull, Genesis, even Queen - 2 :)) But the album cover is unique!!!

@@ToddOwl146 "Time" is great musically and a cringe-worthy horror show lyrically.

Two great songs. Track two sounds like a possible Xanadu track. Both tracks are wonderfull, a Goldmine in Eldorado

I'd say "Julie don't live here anymore", a B-side from the Time era has it's beginnings in this song.

On The Third Day was reissued in 2006 with Everyone’s Born to Die (which has a very rough vocal) and other rough-cuts. I think Jeff likes putting that stuff out there

Hi Johnnix. Thanks for your kind comment. We did asked Harvey to come to the session but unfortunately he was out touring. He was a true part of H/C his riffs as Tony told me really brought the songs to life. All the best Kenny

@@denton115 - thanks for saying. I hope Harvey gets a songwriting credit one day soon. I do a busker's version of 'Every One's a Winner' on the street btw and most people react to that incredible riff, especially people of colour. I also sang it at a karaoke session last night, it's just a killer song with just the right amount of rock v soul in the mix, I love it. Hope to add this one soon + 'You Sexy Thing'. 'Heaven's In The Back Seat' + 'Disco Queen' are possibles too. HC's music will live on... If there's ever anything else I can do to help, let me know ;-)
