Trying got to try and reprogram 2 new keys the system currently says no keys programed and dtc has anti theft activated code ahowing. When i try and program a key it gets to 7 pecent and fails. Goes through getting security code and acess granted and thats when it fails takes about 20 seconds start to finish. Any ideas ??

I purchased a second hand Focus mk4 and requested a removeable trailer hitch to be installed. They installed it and everything works, the rearviewcam, parksensors, the car detects it has a trailer, the lights on the trailer work. But I recently got started with Forcan and notice it's giving me a U2100 code on the trailer module 'initial configuration not completed'.

Hi SY, great video, very clear and easy to follow. Apologised for the lengthy query that follows, but I notice that after plugging the vLinker into your laptop, a message popped up saying that the device was being set up, then a second message saying that it had been set up. When I plugged mine in, I only got the first message, but not the second. Having checked the USB Controllers in Device Manager, while the vLinker cable was still plugged into my laptop, there appears to be a new icon called 'USB Serial Converter' (which disappears when the cable is removed, and then reappears when plugged back in - I assume this is normal). However, when I double-click into the 'USB Serial Converter' icon, although the details in the 'General' tab say that 'this device is working properly' the details on the 'Events' tab show 3 entries - Device started (FTDIBUS), Device configured (oem2.inf) and Device configured (null) - It's the last one with '(null)' that concerns me. Would you be kind enough to check the details in your USB Serial Converter 'Event' tab to see if you also have the same '(null)' entry that I do (if so, then it doesn't appear that I have a problem, but if you don't, then I may have a problem and may have to uninstall the FTDI drivers and download (but not install) them for a third time). I hope this makes sense, but if not, please let me know and I will try to explain my query clearer. Thank you in advance, Shaun.

Since every door on this car requires electrical power to open, where should I carry around the 12V jump pack that is required to gain access to the vehicle? Should I duct tape it to the roof? Should I wear it around my neck or let it hang from my belt? Do I need to have a support vehicle follow me around everywhere I go which carries all the accoutrements I might require?

Hi, this looks like an issue that has just developed on my car. What type of cable did you use to jump lin connection, just a bit of single core copper?
