Huh I thought it would be connected to bringing back forest like what they are doing in deserts global right now. However after seeing how there are stone walls going up, that high it could still be for collecting water like a well. I don't see a purpose for animals, but storage could be another possibility. They did check out to see if there were bones and such inside but found none to support it being storage or for keeping animal stock. So again leaning toward it being an attempt to reforest the desert like we are doing today. Micro climates you need a way to use the earth to collect water, then you place mulch lots of it where you would collect water when it rains. Then you within the mulch that would retain moisture plant seeds. In the outer perimeter plant sturdy plants. Imitate the beaver with holes or even bring in the beavers making beaver dams that is where the idea came from to prevent places turning into desert and those desert places turning back into forest.

There wouldn’t be any ruins. They used wood for their homes. Not brick or stone. That’s one of the most frustrating things for me about the Indians in the northeast. They didn’t build their settlements out of anything that would last.

The containers are not being removed from the Dali as the Dali will be headed elsewhere for repairs (I understand one of the shipyards in the Norfolk VA area). To get to open ocean water the Dali must clear (get under) a bridge downstream from Baltimore. This requires that the Dali be well loaded so it sits lower in the water (an empty Dali would not fit under the bridge). It is my belief that the crushed containers at the bow will be removed in Baltimore once they are cleared of the bridge debris. I have no idea if the Dali will be fully unloaded in the Norfolk area or not. There are no bridges to get under to get to the main ports and shipyards in the Norfolk area as all road traffic is in tunnels well under the seafloor.

the Dali has claimed or declared General Average , so the cargo has to pay in portion to the damage costs and other salavage costs. So cargo will not be discharged in the neat future if at all. May 31 4K drone footage of Dali's bow by Minorcan Mullet kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b5xxgrCZ3b2niWw.html View from 15:20 mark. By comparison it can be seen that Resolve Marine has repositioned the large Weeks 533 crane forward of the large concrete beam and that its boom is way over tot he port side where the broken containers are located. The ancillary smaller black crane has moved in and appears to be supporting the large concrete beam which seems to have rotated somewhat since then and Fri June 7.

Looks like the Weeks is reaching across the Dali. Looks like a claw on the main snatch block. Can't tell if they are pulling debris or grabbing and lowering smashed containers. If you could timelapse what the Weeks boom is doing from a tripod would be awesome!
