I am one of the customers of the BOM and sorry, since I bought it, it never really worked. Went for a repair back to USA and even after the repair it is still not working, Biggest problem for us in EUROPE is, that Levil has no local tech support and unit needs to be sent to USA on our costs. I was so much looking forward to have it on my plane, but so far, its a very unpleasant experience.

Is this only ADS-b in? Why such a big deal? Stratus, has it and a little price! And you can buy a small device for less if is only to see the traffic ! Do you have a device in in and out?

Hey guys, became a iLevil Groupie at Sun N Fun! Hey Recardo! In looking at the other the other needs of my aircraft, ie... Transponder with ADS-B out, Engine Monitor and VHF Com, it's a challenge to make sure they all talk and function together. Can you create a list of vendors that iLevil functions with? I would like to get to IFR, which I understand, your autopilot is not TSO'd for use, as a IFR certified autopilot, but will function with, since your iLevil AP is a GPS WAAS unit and has connectiveity to a Garnmin Navigator capability. With my goal in view, what would be your recommendation as to equipment to accomplish those goals? I am looking at the Garmin GTX 33 w/ADS-B out transponder, as a precursor to the purchase of a Garmin GPS 175 Navigator. Will this function with and display on the iLevil app on iPad? I am also evaluating the use of MGL's remote V16 radio with the Razor (I think that is the name) Control Head. Do I need the control head, or will iLevil display the controls for this unit, right on the app? In addition, I am evaluating the MGL RDAC MAP engine monitor, with the Razor Head control interface. I like the utility of mounting this unit on the engine side of the firewall and running one cable in thru the firewall. In addition, it's much less expensive than GRT's unit. Will this display on the iLevil app and have the interface with the unit?

Avare is an app I have been using for years with a homemade stratux. I am very excited to hear about the new version coming out and the possibility of being able to pass navigation data to the autopilot. Especially since I'm a new owner of the iLevil AP! I will say that the iLevil picks up a lot more ADS-B 'targets' than the startux (two nooelec SDRs) and even more than what the EchoUAT can pick up doing some basic ground testing. That's using the same antenna at different times to test. Really looking forward to what Levil and Avare come up with!

We need more people like Zubair whose selfless contribution is exemplary and Ananda, who is very skilled and helpful in the aviation field. Kudos, guys, you have my utmost admiration and respect. Hope to see you guys at Sun n Fun 2024. Please work on a HUD solution for GA. I am a physician and had written a program on a weekend (when I was bored), in visual Basic to calculate the risk of heart surgery in 1996, uploaded it on Compuserve for people to use for free but now I just utilize the apps people like you create.

I am an excited new customer. I live in the U.S. and winter in Panama. Panama is stable because of the canal, unfortunately Venezuela, our neighbor, is not. Many Venezuelans have moved to Panama. I have found that they are hustler's. In fact, I met one selling door to door. I bought some items from him, because he was so polite. I am happy that you're family has found success in the U.S., your family deserves it. If you feel that this post is not pertanant, I will take it down.

Hola Ananda y Ricardo. To add a little more light to my chat comment about the Aviation App being a good fit to possibly evolve into a PWA, the communication connection between the AP/BOM and the tablet would continue to be local and private, completely isolated from the public internet as it is currently. The main difference would be that their new way of communicating would be through a private _intranet_ using Internet Protocol, namely through either Websockets or WebTransport technologies via udp and not the more commonly used http(s). The main catch is that this would require setting up your current MCU to also handle additional duties as a (private and unique) intranet server. Because of this additional workload may be too much for one MCU, it would probably just be better to add an additional MCU to handle those new server duties and maybe distribute some of the processing load of the current MCU to the new partner MCU and share the work. A PWA looks, act and feel the same as any native app no matter the device including Windows, Mac, and Lunix (basically anything that runs a browser). It can be set up to start by pressing its own little icon on the desktop page like any other native app. Your past issue with getting the Android app user experience to be consistent across all the various Android tablet/phone makers would be eliminated because they all have to conform to the same IP standards as the internet browsers. The AP/BOM would be talking to the browsers and not the devices. The only browser that is a little picky when it comes to PWA's is mobile Safari on ios, but in your case that doesn't really matter much because you already have a stellar app that runs great on its own in ios. I hope I didn't give you too much nerd-overload, but I love this kind of stuff. Anyway, its just a random thought. Por favor pasen un buen fin de semana. - Orlando

Thank you because I'm in the process of building an RV 6, and I'm going to have to get an airworthiness certificate for it. The FAA inspector's going to want to see that. Times have changed; now I will show him/her on an iPad, where I used to show them on a steam guage.

Anada, your explanation for the VNE markers on the airspeed "steam" gauge are very important for experimental aircraft. When I called the FAA inspector to get my airworthiness certificate for my Velocity, one of the things that he checked off was that the airspeed indicator was marked for VNE. Fortunately, I had gotten my airspeed indicator screen printed for the VNE. You didn't comment if the EFIS panel shows a VNE. If it doesn't, that would be a good addition for us experimental folks.

I fly in Alaska quite a bit. I have an experimental cub and a Maule. I will have your auto pilot in the cub. If I could put it in the Maule, I would. In SE AK there is a lot of weather, an auto pilot is almost a must for us. Just saying

What's needed is an APP Computer/Ipad/Phone where if onw wants to fly from KYRV to 22FA in a 172 either VFR/IFR it looks a weather winds aloft Picks needed intermediat stops based on FAR's Ect. and keeps track of enrought weather as you Progress. Also files necessary Flight Plans Based on time and recalcaluats based on Progress.
