I did my best to line them up, but the most important take away are the foot patterns. I always encourage people to study real life when making animations and not just copy other work.

@@slcFilm The biggest error I see in CGI bipedal gaits is the bearing angle or angle of gait. Bipedal dinosaurs are often shown with their legs following two widely separated tracks of footprints because the legs are wrongly animated to remain parallel. In reality all bipeds bring their feet together on the ground to leave a narrow footprint track to keep their CoG over their feet without causing the body to sway. Even kangaroos follow this rule. The exception is hopping birds.

0:43 Fun fact, pigeons use 100% of the circle to take off, if you make slowmotion you'll notice the wings touches, that allows them to take off verticaly, which consume more energy, that's why they have so big muscles, for their size the energy spent during this process is gigantic, that's why they eat so much. During summer they can quickly overheat, while crows that are black apparently overheat less often as their flight is more calm, but they need more space to takeoff. Ducks needs more horizontal speed, same for heronsand flamingos.

I noticed this myself when I was a kid, when you run "running" means you don't touch the ground for a moment, while with others methods you always touch the floor ;) It means you cant' change direction when flying ;)
