It looks like you were using a spindle roughing gouge initially to make the blank round and form the shape. Just a word of warning the gouge has a tang which is its weak point and if you get a catch it could snap with serious consequences. The clue is in the name of the gouge it's not for bowl turning my friend please be careful and use the right tool because one day it WILL bite you and hard.

Зачем тут кисточка? Обычный кусочек тряпочки 5 х 5 сантиметров достаточно чтобы растереть покрытие по изделию. Кисточка собирает грязь и пыль, а тряпочка одноразовая, протёрли и выкинули вместе с пылью и грязью.
