I dont understand why kafka cannot coope with alot of connections? Or does he nean that it cannot to different type of IOT devices(if this is the case then its clear) And why Kafka shall not be used in an environment with low latency requirements?

I Have two LOGO! 8.4 devices in my hands. I bought them because I want to bind them via MQTT, so they can exhange AND USE the information they share. So far, I can only see the data they publish alive on the HIVE MQ client, but I Just cannot make the subscriber (The other LOGO! 8.4) receive any of the published data.

I'm very modestly experience w/ MQTT & REQ+RESP seems odd to me. It makes more sense in a point-to-point communication that a bus protocol. The entire issue of how to design MQTT topic-space seems very under-addressed.

Very nice video, thanks a lot for sharing. What I did wonder is that you didnt really use Sparkplug in your sample, it would be interesting to see what it could improve here and where it adds complexity. To me its not a 100% clear where Sparkplug really shines.

Thanks for the great demo! One question came to my head: In 16:33, the HiveMQ Broker connects to Telegraf, and Telegraf sends the data to both InfluxDB and Quix. In 21:31, the architecture changed and the HiveMQ Broker connects to Quix, that forwards the data to InfluxDB. Was there a specific reason to change the architecture?
