Taramps is quite a great value and popular on SPL build. Don’t know if anyone did an SQ build with them? I have passed on Taramps because I am quite skeptical and want sound quality. I love my Sony Mobile ES speakers, I not only enjoy the clarity and crispness but I am absolutely happy with how loud it gets.

I use the Scosche one, and it’s been great. Maybe I got a good one because it doesn’t sound distorted, nor does it clip my amplifier. Either way, it’s cheap and quick to grab. Amazon takes forever sometimes.

So I think I’m finally making the switch to Taramps, thinking of getting the TS 1200x4 for my 4 Sylvester’s. I currently have a Hifonics 1200x4 but I know it doesn’t produce true power. Do you think that would be enough, also would the TS or DS be better?

Taramps, a company that’s straight up about their wattage, and delivers quality for a great price. What else could you want? I have a Taramps Bass 800 1 ohm, and it puts my Skar ZVX-8 that’s paralleled to 1 ohm to work! And it sounds amazing 😁

I just put a Taramps MD 12000.1 1ohm on my 2 deaf bounce SA305 15's and let me tell you what goin from a 4k capable amp to a 12k capable amp is a big difference now im actually putting the power my subs want to them but its wired at 2ohm so im more or less sending about 4 to 5 k at them now

If you are trying to run a 5000 w amplifier on a stock alternator, you know nothing about putting stereo system in. It doesn't matter if you have 10 batteries, it does no good without the amperage coming from the alternator! Does it help? Well yes. But you should have changed the alternator first. Good luck!
