I think a break down out there on your own would warrant using the PLB. In summer you'll die during the day and winter you'd freeze to death at night.

We have it in the Melbourne suburbs, all we could get was ASDL, then we got StarLink in the early stages, now no more TELSTRA!!! Only had dropouts during heavy storms and that was only for seconds. Best thing about it is that it is a true unlimited upload and download service and no congestion at peak hours. Win win for the consumer.

Haddon Corner looked like the first time I went to Cameron Corner, nothing there was just big white gate and a post in the ground.

There is something about the desert, and motorcycles that is perfect. The scenery, the roads or trails are fun to ride.

Nice to see you out on your bike Josh. You mentioned many vblogers don’t show them stopping to see the scenery. I see that all too often here in Alaska, where there travel timeline doesn’t give them a chance too. Here, it’s get to “such and such location” like The Arctic Circle, Coldfoot, or the Arctic Ocean with pictures or video in front of some sign where they have to put their silly stickers, then they move on all without really checking out the areas they travel too and end up missing some great vistas as a consequence. It seems like such a waste to travel so far and miss so much. So good on you to stop and smell the roses along the way.
