I was so excited for you to watch this episode! It's one of my top favorites, but I knew I couldn't say anything about it because of your "no spoilers" rule lol. Obviously in the context of this episode it takes a dark turn, but the concept of synesthesia has always fascinated me, and it was so interesting to see it represented on Criminal Minds!

I mean.... Dr Percy was not wrong about the zoo having larger scanners.... On the rare occasion where a scan is needed and the patient exceeds the weight limit, hospitals have used scanners from a zoo.

I have to giggle going through this playlist every time you mention recognizing actors, and I kept thinking the same thing. But I just came to the realization last night that most of the actors I "recognize" are because I recognize them FROM Criminal Minds. Lmfao felt a little dumb once I realized. 😂😂😂 Been loving this playlist - thank you!!

Ooh this one is chilling and cemented season 11 as one of the best seasons of the show. It REALLY feels like a throwback to season 1-2 Also what this lady does to Spencer makes my skin crawl. Yeah she’s messing with everyone and yeah it would be super gross and creepy for anyone, but considering Spencer is the one who has the most anxiety about germs and physical contact from strangers, it’s like it’s she knew and targeted him for it.

I actually had forgotten this episode. I find it disturbing how quickly I knew the wife was telling the truth based on the kids behaviour. I have unfortunately seen what happens when an abusive father raises his children to believe the worst of their mother. The things they were saying we're so obviously drilled into them that I knew it was true. Sidenote: If I said "Stimi" right now would anyone else know what I was talking about?

Please don't take this as me being mean - it just made me chuckle at 17:26...while you're actively looking at the guy on screen, "I can see his face, I just can't put a name to it." I 100% know what you meant, but the wording just made me giggle! Please give your beautiful doggos pats, kisses and extra treatos for me! 😊🐾

This is why i am always nice to doctors, because you never know that they had to deal with before seeing you. They have to go from something like that to walking around and talking to other patients. All ways be kind.

Only just now realized that both the warden and the husband are in Supernatural. The warden is Joshua, the angel who can speak to God. The husband is Kubrick, who is in one of my favorite episodes: Bad Day at Black Rock. He works with Gordon Walker to try to kill Sam. Only recognized the warden by his voice. The lawyer was actually in Supernatural as well in season two episode eighteen. Knew I recognized him from somewhere! That's bizarre having all three people in the same episode playing on Supernatural at different times.

I swear it's a bad sign to be a kid in a highchair on this show unless you belong to a main character. I'm also with Prentis here about the mom. Not because her baby crying in the other room is a reason to live though. I would wager statistics say that mother's either: A) drop their kid off somewhere safe before they take their life or B) take the kid with them as a murder suicide. You don't just abandon the baby. That is probably statistically unheard of. Most mother's instinctually would want to see the baby cared for. And yes killing their children with them is a form of this. It's a twisted logic, but an unfortunately common enough one.

18:51 He committed "Suicide by Cop; an encounter in which a suicidal person attempts to die by suicide by forcing a law enforcement officer to use lethal force" he stated Van Gogh sold "two paintings" in reality he sold only one, he wanted validation so "he can be seen" so he forced the BAU to shoot him so he can have his "murderous fringe art" be sold even though they asked him not to do.
