36 miles? Is there an adult version?
@ericfaulk2204Күн бұрын
Looking at the website, it appears there is a 50 mile race and a 165 mile race. Given your comment, I assume you'll be signing up for the latter? 🤔

Hardly a war, following wheels all day.

It was a war up front between Turbo and MDR. Good fun attacking each other. Steve put a couple good digs on us too. :)

I found that last turn @ 31.2 miles to not be well marked at all and my group did the exact same as yours. Otherwise great race and well organized event! Good racing.

Looking for comments on how Judah can improve his race tactics. I was able to discuss with him a handful of tactical mistakes throughout his race. Of course, as his dad (even though I have 30+ years of racing experience and a former Cat 1 on the road) the tactical recommendations may not be viewed as strongly as coming from someone else (if you are a parent, you understand).

Pro Form had 3 riders in this race. I got popped on first climb (embarrassed) and the second teammate lost contact with lead group around 8 mile mark. Three MDR (Michigan Dirt Rider) teammates in the front group, everyone else had no teammates. All season, MDR has done an incredible job working as a team...kudos to them!

Powers fine. Take the climbs with the least amount of power as possible unless you are attacking to form a break. Have a plan, how am I going to win? Never lead out a bunch sprint from 400 meters unless it is for a team mate, you will not win. Oh, and work on that jump.

Nice work! That bridge effort after Sager was monstrous!

Have to admit doing some hate watching of fat bike riders getting dropped. WTF with chasing a teammate at 1:04:10?

Nice video. Had a bunch of riding buddies race. Can I ask you how you got VIRB Edit to do the overlays. I have a VIRB ultra and been using the software for years but recently it's broken. Software depends on IE and Google maps does not support it anymore.
@uptheroad12 ай бұрын
Patrick, VIRB is not very user friendly. My map doesn't work either. I have watch the video and guess where we are at (a corner or something). Not the best system but all I have.

Damn. I picked the wrong wheel for the sprint. 😎. And I knew he’d be the one to follow. Nice race!!! Are you guys coming back next weekend?

Thanks for posting the video! I saw Judah hammering just after Sager, and I just couldn't hold his wheel. It's so impressive!

How early did you line up? I lined up 20 minutes early and had no chance to catch up to the front.

What happened nearing the end among the front three riders? Seems like the leading rider just let off the gas before the park entrance
