I can't get Inpaint to work reliably. Sometime I want to change one word. Sometimes I want to change a whole line. But no matter how wide or narrow I mark the region and *** it screws up the whole thing, changing the music, messing up the rhythm and even squeezing the first word of the next line on to the end of the previous. It can produce some great stuff if you leave it its own devices but every time I try to tweak something, it's like it has a meltdown!

as an animator, this news does not please me, i already know a few undeserving individuals who use google stock images and ai to make their videos in the form of "animation", and its affecting the quality control in my country real bad. I hope all the nations in the world start realizing that this is the beginning of a probable economic depression, where individuals will eventually stop earning and will run into poverty, while the rich and powerful continue to grow. The governments really need to act on this, training ai with other people's work without their consent and then stealing their artstyle through ai is not fair, and it needs to be curbed. actual artists need a creative outlet to express their emotions or streamline their own ambitions. I know so many people aspiring to become professionals in this field and to see that ai will take their jobs away even before they actually graduate is just concerning. really want to go back when ai wasnt a thing.

As a person who gets lost and stuck sometimes in detail (basically, I'm an ocd slowpoke), if this can help with inbetweens based on my own work, that can be useful. I think even with it's limitations, there wonky frames can be used as somewhat decent reference to be redrawn. For me the main issue is that it may use the frames we make to train/use our developed style. I do get that a lot of people aren't willing to spend hours/years understanding technical drawing/lighting/shading/physics of movement and much more. I understand that they get excited about prompting to get something made for them if their technical skills don't match up with their visions. I just think that there has to be a manner in which artists' work can remain respected just as much as that desire to be able to visually say something for those who aren't visual story makers. Anyway, thanks for sharing about ToonCrafter! Appreciated. I'm curious about how the software was modeled... Hmm! :)

In the animation industry, tools are never used to make the workers' lives easier, but to pile more work on fewer individuals. If this tool actually works, 70% of the animators will go home permanently, and the 30% left will work even more to output six times the quota.

@alexeykulikov56615 күн бұрын
This tool is first of all going to help/replace people who draw in-between frames in animation. I think it's one of the most soul-draining jobs, or at least can be such. Very tedious, from what I understand and know, very high amount of work for little pay and little perceived value per "piece" of effort, since there must be many frames and the change between them is small.
@theriddleman76485 күн бұрын
1.The narrative surrounding the alleged art theft by AI is becoming repetitive. It is important to gain a deeper understanding of the functioning of LLMS and general AI models. 2. This AI tool, despite being in its early stages, has the potential to greatly benefit animators in countries where production is crucial and they face unfair treatment. 3. As these tools continue to improve, the animation industry will witness a significant boost in quality and efficiency. Projects that used to require months or even years of work will now be completed in a matter of days or weeks. 4. Independent animators, whether working alone or in small teams, can utilize these tools to create animations efficiently and with exceptional quality.

Very nice review! By the way, for the sound waves overlay - you don't have to make the background green. Even better to leave it black. Then when editing, change the blend mode of the sound waves clip to screen or add. Pure black will become transparent and the blend comes out even cleaner than with a chroma key. Can also use luma key to key out the darks.
