Love Provincetown-- though the turista crowds are a major problem. Liked it better in the old days, c. 1970s-80s.

I'm 64 years old, and lived there from '66 to '68. There's hardly a thing I recognize from that period. Truly loved living there.

One thing missing - where are the mayor and members of town council? They should be out in public (come out of hiding), walking up and down Commercial Street meeting, greeting and listening carefully to as many visitors as possible. The town is far from perfect. Those walking around and spending lots of money have a lot to say and teach those running town.

Rather misleading. Not a walking tour of Wellfleet at all, just of a beach on the Atlantic. Where are downtown Wellfleet or the harbor?

It was a good vacation spot when I was much younger, however I heard it's very antihetero now. It used to be a place where everyone seemed to get along.

Im kinda not real happy with Province Town after visiting it for the first time in my 62 years. To park in a public parking area in P Town you have to download an app and then give your Credit Card info to pay. While trying to use the app my first CCcwas denied so I tried another and that was also denied. Long story short a couple hours later we got a call from our financial services fraud line and they told me my cards were hacked and fraudulent charges were put on my cards that were used for an escourt service. Thank goodness for my banks looking out for me before my cards were used for something else. So thats how my first time in P Town went.... not to happy.

I haven’t been there since I was 18. Was very different then, much quieter. Seeing it now reminds me a lot of Greenport, NY, on the north fork of Long Island, just north of the Hamptons

My family and I were planning a trip to Provincetown this year (2021) but due to the rise in Covid cases, we decided that it would be safer to spend the week at home rather than travel. This is literally the next best thing, thank you for posting this, it’s beautiful and it makes me feel like I’m there.

Best thing about this loveliest of American neighborhoods...the unending peace and quiet! Plus, that charming old-world colonial architecture. Beacon Hill, you get my vote for Best Neighborhood in America! Thank you, Thrive by Travel.
